Many Brides and Grooms these days don’t often consider getting a videographer. Either it isn’t in the budget, or it’s not something that will even come up in conversation for things that are essential to book when planning a wedding. Why is that exactly?
Well, here are some things to think about when considering having a professional film your wedding. 79% of Brides and Grooms polled who didn’t have a wedding videographer, regret not getting one.
There are things that video can capture that photography simply can’t.
Being able to relive the moment of you hearing the vows you make on your wedding day is something special for both of you, the guests who were there, but most importantly, to the loved ones who weren’t able to be there. A quality videographer will have a microphone that is discreet enough to be hidden and high quality enough to capture the audio in the best way possible.
You’ll be able to hear inflections in your voice, and the whispers that show the love and devotion (and nerves) you have when you are up there to show the world how much you love your spouse. On board audio from your family or friends camcorder just can’t do that.
There is nothing that will wrench your heart and soul like seeing a proud parent not being able to complete a sentence during a toast because they are so incredibly proud to see their baby girl grow up and be so successful. These are the moments when no words say so much more than the most brilliant of speeches.
Ten or more years from now, when you’re showing your children what it was like at your wedding, you’ll be able to show them the people they might not have had a chance to meet.
Total Memories filmed our wedding at the South Causey on 20th September 2017. and we couldn't recommend them enough.
From making an enquiry to receiving our beautiful wedding video, they made the process so simple for us. They both came on the day and blended into the day perfectly.
They made our guests feel comfortable.. and had everyone laughing while making their video messages to us. We received our highlights footage. a few days later, and getting our full film just two weeks later.
Their work has made sure that we can enjoy our perfect day, again and again. Making memories that will last a life time. Thank you.. and when we renew our vows. We will be sure you have you there again.
